The true story of puppy mill survivor, Bailey, a Lhasa Apso. Named Bailey, after the family name in the classic movie ITS A WONDERFUL LIFE.
Catherine Frances adopted the little dog rescued when a puppy mill was raided in Southern Minnesota. Shortly after Bailey was brought to her new home in Eagan Minnesota, she went missing dragging her red leash. Eagan, a large suburb close to MSP airport, had a problem with coyotes – putting this little dog in even greater peril. THE RED LEASH is testament to believing in miracles when chances for success are zero. It is about a community coming to together (including police, an animal control officer, a group of college kids, a pet psychic, a crusty old animal tracker, a Lhasa Apso show dog expert, friends and neighbors) to find this little white dog who was lost for a month during one of Minnesota’s coldest and snowiest winters on record.
Check back for Bailey’s story as featured in a national dog magazine written by Lhaso Apso expert, Barb Kelm, who played a major role in finding Bailey.
